Jeremy Luchins, Ph.D.

Jeremy Luchins is a patent agent with the firm. Jeremy joined the firm in early 2010, following a career distinguished by achievement across a variety of scientific fields.
Jeremy spent five years as Director of Research for Aviv Biomedical, where he oversaw the development and testing of medical diagnostic instruments. His work also included the design and documentation of efficacy and safety trials, as well as liaison with the FDA. After leaving the biomedical field, Jeremy pursued advanced actuarial studies and worked in software development, developing computer programming systems for financial forecasting in the insurance industry. Jeremy also has over twenty years of experience in science education, including both curriculum development and classroom experience, in biology, chemistry and physics.
Jeremy received his doctorate in Chemistry from Columbia University, where he developed instrumentation for biophysical chemical analysis. In postdoctoral studies at Columbia he created a system for studying biopolymer conformational change kinetics, including the design and implementation of new instruments and research procedures.
